From waiting for permission — to writing the book and building the business he'd been circling his whole career.

In a career filled with many coaches, Rebecca has been the best by a very large margin.

LeadershipBreaking Cycles

What pattern was keeping him stuck?

Greg came to me after losing his job at the peak of a 25-year C-suite career. On paper: accomplished, decorated, a CEO many times over. Inside: "lacking confidence and feeling very insecure" — a lifelong seeker who'd worked with more coaches and programs than he could count, still searching for the thing that would finally click.

He thought he needed to rebuild his confidence and find his next role. What we found underneath was older than any job. Under pressure, Greg collapsed into one story — "I'm not doing enough. There must be something I'm missing" — and beneath it, a quieter one he'd carried for decades: I'm not enough.

What couldn't he see before?

For an entire successful career, he'd been over-functioning — carrying everyone else, earning his worth by helping — all while waiting for permission to step fully into what he actually wanted.

The job loss didn't break him. It revealed a pattern that had been running the whole time. He had been the thing standing in his own way.

What truth did he uncover?

So we didn't work on getting his confidence back. We worked on the pattern: the waiting, the wounded-helper reflex, the old story running underneath the résumé. And once Greg could see it, he stopped waiting.

What changed once he saw the pattern?

What happened next is the whole story. The man who came in stuck and insecure went out and wrote a book and founded a company — both built, remarkably, on the exact truth he'd just lived: that you don't need permission to lead, to matter, to begin. He turned the pattern he broke into his life's work.

What did we measure?

Not how Greg feels on a good day — anyone can lead when things are going well. We measured what happens when life hits: his automatic response under stress. That's the part almost nothing can change.

At the start, under pressure, nearly half of Greg collapsed into self-blame — "it's all on me." By the end, that reaction had nearly halved. The reflex that had run him for a career had loosened its grip. Not a mood — a measured shift in how he meets the hardest moments. That's the guarantee. Greg is what it looks like kept.

In His Words

"In a career filled with many coaches and programs, Rebecca has been the best ever — by a very large margin. I can't begin to express the difference. I'm at a completely different level, across the board."
